Lars has +26 years of experience as an E&P geologist. Early in his his career he drilled Exxon's first horizontal wells in the Gulf of Mexico. He has extensive experience in the North Sea, from giant producing assets, and also high impact exploration projects which have resulted in 2 recent discoveries. Lars brought North Sea explorer Lime Petroleum AS to 8,000BOPD of production within 3 years. He has also led the unconventional exploration and development effort for companies operating onshore Europe and Texas.

He is the former Exploration Manager for San Leon Energy with broad understanding of onshore Polish operations. Lars holds a BS in geology from the University of Oslo, and MS from the University of Wyoming, and an MBA from Heriot Watt University; he is a member of the AAPG and SPE.
